Funnel & sources
Measure pipeline conversion and compare applicant channels.
Two complementary views explain how candidates enter and how far they progress: Sources (channel mix) and Funnel (stage conversion).
Funnel analytics
Path: /dashboard/analytics/funnel
The funnel tab shows candidate counts across journey-centric stages:

|---|---|
| Invited | Journey invite sent or apply created session |
| Started | Candidate opened the journey |
| Completed | All required nodes finished |
| Reviewed | Recruiter marked reviewed or took queue action |
| Shortlisted | Advanced toward interview/offer |
| Hired | Terminal positive outcome |
Use the date range filter to align with a campaign window or quarter. Export CSV for leadership slides.
When funnel looks flat
- Low Started → Completed: Journey too long or mobile-unfriendly — inspect Analytics → Journeys (
/dashboard/analytics/journeys) for node drop-off. - High Completed, low Reviewed: Recruiting capacity — pair with Team (
/dashboard/analytics/team) and/dashboard/reviewbacklog. - Zero Invited: No publishes or invites — check
/dashboard/settings/careersand/dashboard/candidates/invite.
Source analytics

Sources breaks down where applications originated:
- Careers page apply
- Recruiter invite
- LinkedIn Apply Connect (when integrated)
- Other tracked channels
Compare source volume with funnel conversion to see which channels deliver completed evidence, not just top-of-funnel clicks.

Activity tab (companion)
Path: /dashboard/analytics/activity
Daily time series of invites, starts, completions, and reviews — useful for spotting weekday patterns and campaign spikes. Same global date filter as Funnel.
Custom pipeline stages (optional)
Feature flag:
custom_pipelines
When enabled, positions use org-defined stages on /dashboard/positions/[id] kanban and Tasks (/dashboard/tasks). Built-in funnel stages still power /dashboard/analytics/funnel; custom stage names appear on position boards and in custom reports (custom_reports).
Export and sharing
Both Funnel and Sources support CSV export from the tab header. For scheduled leadership email, build a saved report under /dashboard/reports when custom_reports is granted.
