Careers page
Publish a branded public careers site, custom domain, and per-position listings.
Your careers page is the public front door for inbound applicants. Candidates browse open roles at /careers/[orgSlug] and apply without a recruiter invite. Org admins configure everything from the dashboard.
Where to configure
| Task | Dashboard path |
|---|---|
| Master toggle, headline, custom domain | /dashboard/settings/careers |
| Branding (logo, colors) | /dashboard/settings/branding |
| Per-position publish & listing fields | /dashboard/settings/careers (position list) or /dashboard/positions/[id]/edit |
| Preview a live listing | /careers/[orgSlug] and /careers/[orgSlug]/[positionId] |
Enable the careers page
- Go to Settings → Careers (
/dashboard/settings/careers). - Turn on Careers page enabled. This is the org-level master switch — disabling it hides all public listings without unpublishing individual positions.
- Optionally set a headline and company description shown above the job list.
- Copy the generated URL (
/careers/your-org-slug) and share it on your website or job posts.
Publish positions
Each position has its own Published to careers page toggle on the careers settings page. Only positions that are both Open and published appear on the public site.
For richer listings, open the position editor (/dashboard/positions/[id]/edit) and fill in:
- Short description (shown on the listing card)
- Location override and employment type
- Department (if used on listings)
Custom domain (optional)
From /dashboard/settings/careers, enter a custom careers domain (e.g. careers.yourcompany.com). InsightHire provides DNS instructions; once verified, the same listings render on your domain instead of the default /careers/[orgSlug] path.
Candidate-facing URLs
| URL pattern | What candidates see |
|---|---|
/careers/[orgSlug] | All published open roles for your org |
/careers/[orgSlug]/[positionId] | Single role detail with Apply |
| Custom domain root | Same listing index, on your hostname |
If the org slug is unknown or the careers page is disabled, candidates see a soft "this careers page isn't available" message — not a hard error.
LinkedIn and job boards
Cross-posting to LinkedIn is configured separately at Settings → Integrations → LinkedIn (/dashboard/settings/integrations/linkedin/setup). When Apply Connect delivers a candidate, they enter the same journey flow as a careers applicant. Track source mix on Analytics → Sources (/dashboard/analytics/sources).
Tips
- Align careers branding with Settings → Branding so journey invites and the apply modal match your careers site.
- Pilot with one open role before publishing your full slate.
- Use Analytics → Funnel (
/dashboard/analytics/funnel) to compare careers apply volume vs invite volume.
