Overview
Learn the basic InsightHire hiring workflow and choose a first task.
InsightHire helps your team screen and hire candidates. You open a position, attach a journey, invite candidates or accept applications, review their evidence, and decide who moves forward.
The hiring loop
- Create a position for the role you are filling.
- Attach a journey, which is the set of steps candidates complete. A journey can include video questions, assessments, or document requests.
- Publish the position or invite candidates directly.
- Review resumes, responses, transcripts, assessment results, and any trust signals.
- Record the next decision: shortlist, interview, offer, hire, or reject.
Journey completion is intended to place candidates in Review, but this has not been proven to happen consistently. If a completed candidate is missing, open the position's Pipeline or Board, confirm completion, and move the candidate to the appropriate review stage.
Start with one real role
- Confirm your role gives you access to the position and candidate information you need.
- Create your first position.
- Build your first journey.
- Invite a small group of candidates and complete a test journey yourself.
- Learn the Review workflow.
Use scores as decision aids
Overall, culture, trust, authenticity, and AI-assisted scores help your team sort and examine evidence. They do not make the hiring decision and should not automatically reject a candidate. Review the underlying job-related evidence and follow your organization's hiring policy.
